What to do if not satisfied with the job

In present times, we can find people talking of their job or work they are involved in that they are not satisfied with that, or some may say that they have no interest in doing the work they have to do. But they are unable to find a solution for this problem and are forced to continue with the same. On the other hand, there are many who love to work whatever the assignment might be. Also, there are some who develop an interest for the job assigned to them. That clearly shows that everything is fine with the second and third type of people, but what about the first one? There is no need to worry as there are solutions for such people also. Yes, they can also be satisfied with the work apart from getting good earnings from that work.

The very first step to solve the problem is to find out one’s own interests, i.e., what is that work which can give maximum satisfaction, if given a chance to do. For example, a person may say that he can draw very good sketches; another may say that he can write very good stories; and yet another may say that he is perfect in computer programming, and so on. There is no doubt that everyone has some unique quality because God creates everyone with this unique feature. However, it is up to us that whether we are able to recognize it or not.

Next comes the perfection or mastery over the specific interest or quality—there should be no compromise on the quality and perfection. Perfection brings confidence in one’s mind that is very important to perform well in challenging jobs. Then start finding an opportunity that is best suited according to the interest keeping patience in mind. If you do your efforts with full sincerity, then there is no question that you will fail. For deserving people there is no shortage of opportunities. With the advancement of technology, the number of such opportunities increases daily—outsourcing work or freelancing. Freelancing is one of the most appropriate solutions for those having problems with their jobs or unsatisfied with the work they are engaged in. But, remember one thing that do not quit immediately from the current work and start your efforts simultaneously. Whenever you think that you find a good place and can stand properly, only then leave the first place.
