Do we really need mobile phones?

Use of cell phones becomes a necessity today’s fast moving world for a large section of the society. But, at the same time we can see a large number of people owning cell phones without any necessity—just for fun and entertainment. They even don’t care for the money they are wasting on buying a cell phone of their choice, because they need a multi-featured cell phone to fulfill their desires.

But is it appropriate to keep a cell phone if we don’t need it for a useful purpose? Surely no, because if we don’t use it for a useful purpose, it will be a total wastage! One can fulfill one’s desire for fun and entertainment with other means and save a lot of money, which can be used for a much needed task.

Even one can not avoid keeping a mobile phone to fulfill his desires, at least one thing one must do that do not change it frequently to own a higher model with a higher price. Frequent change of cell phones is a normal practice in youngsters including school and college going students. One can make a good research while making the first purchase for a cell phone to avoid such a situation.

Parents and elders also have a great role to play in this regard. They can guide their children not to be attracted by the non useful features of a new mobile phone although these are useful for other persons. Or, if the elders or parents think that their child has no need of keeping a mobile phone, they should strictly refuse their children for the same.

Finally, keep a mobile phone only if it is required for a useful purpose and don’t waste hard earned money on it.

How can we make use of internet for shopping

A large number of people use online shopping for buying various items for their personal and family use as well. This method is so popular because it saves a lot of time for a busy person—today time is the most important factor in everyone’s life! On the other hand, in most of the cases the payment for an online shopping needs to be done through a credit card and by doing so a person wins some reward points on his credit card which can bring some gifts to him.

But, is there any other method through which we can use internet as a tool for buying things we need? Yes, there is a method which is perhaps the most important aspect for making a purchase and that is market research and collection of facts. If we successfully achieve these, there are no chances of buying a wrong item. This will also save a lot of money for us.

Let us understand that how it works with an example. Suppose we want to buy a washing machine and could not make a decision that which brand we should choose. One simple thing we can do is to go the market and visit different showrooms for getting information related to various models. But it can take hours. Apart from wasting time, we will not get all the information because the sales people will not provide the entire information. Or, there are chances that we do no t find a full range of product available in the showrooms. Then what to do?

In such situation, internet serves the purpose. Just visit the web sites of different brands and study all the information given for the full range of the product. Also take the contact numbers of the nearest authorized dealers of different brands so that you can contact them on the phone itself. The information given on the web site will include the technical features and performance features of the washing machine. From this information we can make a detailed comparison to decide what we really need.

After making a decision, we can contact the particular brand’s authorized dealer by visiting the showroom and ask for the particular item. It shows that we have already done all the research work on the product and the sales people will not try to hide anything from us. Then we can also ask for some discounts or special gift on the purchase. Take a final quote from the dealer and contact another dealer of the same brand and get a quote from him also for the same model.
Just compare them and see if there is any difference in these quotes. If there is a difference, we should talk to the dealer that is quoting a higher price about the price we are offered by another dealer. This will surely work and the dealer will offer the washing machine at a lower price than the other dealer is offering. So, at last we are able to make a wise purchase for our washing machine without any wastage of time.

This is just one example and we can use this technique in almost everything we have to buy for our house or office. When we do such things in practical, these give internal joy and peace to our mind!

Teacher's guidance

Teachers have a great responsibility in making foundations for a bright future of any nation because students are supposed to shape their nation. Teachers must be very careful while guiding their teachers and should explain each and everything in detail so as to eliminate any doubts in the minds of the students. To achieve this goal they can take help of practical examples either from daily life or by performing them in front of the students, if possible. Here is an example describing this principle.

Once in a medical college, a teacher was teaching his students about the qualities of a doctor which every doctor should have. He was telling them that every doctor should have two most important qualities apart from general ones. Those qualities are: should have very good observation and should not hesitate from anything.

The first quality means that a doctor should observe each and everything with a deep sense and should be able to understand the situation fully. Whereas the second quality of non-hesitation from any smell means that if a doctor sees wounds of a patient or a patient with a number of injuries, he should not hesitate or feel reluctant to treat the patient.

The doctor explains his point by performing a practical example before the students. He took a glass full of water and showing it to his students told that this glass of water contains water and cattle dung mixed in water. Then he dipped one of his fingers in the glass and then touched his mouth with a finger. Then he said to his students that see he has no hesitation for this and if they will do the same, he will be sure that his students can be good doctors in the future.

To show their teacher that they too have no hesitation, each students did as asked by the teacher. After all the students performed the task, the teacher said that all of them had failed in the test! All were amazed that how it happened when they did as asked by their teacher. They all were eager to know where they failed. Then the teacher told them that no doubt they acquire one quality of non-hesitation but did not observe, because the teacher touched his mouth with a different finger than that he dipped in the glass! After listening this truth, all the students felt sad and then promised to their teacher not to repeat this fault in future.

So from the above description we all must take a lesson that whenever our teachers give us any guideline or teaches us to develop some quality, we must take it seriously and have a deep thinking on all aspects. Otherwise we will not be able to follow our teacher’s guidelines in full like the students of the above example.

Place everything at a proper place in your home

There should be a proper place for everything in the house or in other words everything should be placed at its proper place! The idea behind this is to maximize the use of items in our houses and minimizing the conflicts, which may arise in case any member of the family could not find a particular item. It is a very common problem in majority of families that if somebody is unable to find something he or she needs, he/she would start losing his/her temper and the situation will become critical in a very short span of time.

Also, there are many such things which if placed on wrong places can harm somebody in the family. For example, knife is used in almost every kitchen and if we do not place it in its proper place it can be harmful for kids and even for the elders too. Other such examples may include needles used for sewing machines, pins, and blades, etc. These are just very small items and other bigger items also need to be placed in their proper places.

Another important feature of placing household items at their respective places is that it adds to the beauty of the house and helps in keeping our house clean. Almost every lady wants that her house should be clean and look beautiful and this can desire can only be fulfilled by placing all the items at proper places.

Placing everything at its place also shows a sense of responsibility in the members of the family. It shows that we will handle each and everything with a responsibility at our work and at every place we will go. Because it is a natural phenomenon that whatever we do on a regular basis becomes our habit and there is no doubt that every person should have good habits!

It means that by placing our household items at their proper places, we are getting a number of benefits any extra effort!

My Childhood

I am now in my late twenties and believe that I am leading a good life with my family. But, if we have to analyze what is the best time I spent in my life till date, the answer will surely be my childhood. Whenever the sweet memories of that period strike my mind, I feel that those are the days which will never come in future.

I spent my entire childhood in a village because my parents were working there. Each and every moment of the childhood was wonderful. Be it going to school, playing with friends at school and after returning from the school as well, enjoying bathing at the tube well or making fun of each other.

I personally believe that the time was wonderful because our minds were free from the outer world’s activities. We just live in a small sphere and had no worry about anything happening in the world. But as the time passed, the claws of different types of worries started tightening the mind and that beautiful period ended leaving behind its sweet memories forever.

Although I feel that the majority of people live their best periods of their lives when they were children, but at the same time there is no doubt that a large number of children experience that period as the worst part of their life. If we wish to talk to them in their later periods of life about their childhood, they do not want to even recall any of memories of that period.

So, I thank God for giving me an excellent opportunity to make my childhood as the best part of my life and pray Him to give the same opportunities to each and everyone He creates!

In present times, we can find people talking of their job or work they are involved in that they are not satisfied with that, or some may say that they have no interest in doing the work they have to do. But they are unable to find a solution for this problem and are forced to continue with the same. On the other hand, there are many who love to work whatever the assignment might be. Also, there are some who develop an interest for the job assigned to them. That clearly shows that everything is fine with the second and third type of people, but what about the first one?
